Formerly known as Ağrı Mountain University, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University is located in the central district within the city boundaries of Türkiye. In addition to contributing to education and science, the university aims to develop the region socially, culturally and economically.
In addition to the physical construction and endowment of the campus and its buildings, activities to support Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University socially and culturally since its establishment are organized by the recently established IC Foundation. Some of these projects include sister universities abroad, supportive faculty and student exchange programs, and contributions to EU and other funded projects.
